Our A-LAW Edinburgh Student Chapter held an event on May 24th entitled ‘UK Chicken Welfare: What should we know? What do we need to consider?’ The event featured speakers Professor Andrew Knight (University of Winchester) and Danielle Duffield (Solicitor and Co-chair of A-LAW’s Farmed Animal Law Working Group), discussing chicken welfare and the current legal framework governing their protection.
